During the well cementing process, the amount of defoamer to be added should take into account factors such as the volume of cement slurry and the degree of foaming. For example, if there is a lot of foam in 1 cubic meter of cement slurry, 0.5 - 0.8 kilograms of defoamer can be added first, and then adjustments can be made according to the actual situation.
Besides calculating by volume and mass, the amount of well cementing defoamer can also be calculated according to the foam coverage rate, or determined based on the foaming multiple. It can also be calculated by combining the mixing time and rotation speed.
