When operating a fluid loss tester in a cementing laboratory, the procedure begins with thoroughly cleaning all components and preparing the cement slurry as per the specified formulation. Next, place a clean filter disk inside the fluid loss cell, carefully pour in the prepared slurry, and ensure the cell is sealed firmly. Subsequently, adjust the temperature and pressure settings to mimic downhole conditions. Once these parameters have stabilized, start the timer and closely observe the process for the standard testing period of 30 minutes. Upon completion of the test, measure the volume of the collected filtrate, release the pressure within the cell, clean and disassemble the equipment, and analyze the results.
