Performance Mechanism

The KELIOIL fluid loss additive acts by forming a thin, low-permeability filter cake on the borehole wall or casing surface. This barrier significantly reduces filtration rate and fluid migration, which helps maintain the designed water-to-cement ratio and prevents premature dehydration of the cement slurry.

The polymer molecules within the additive enhance viscosity control, interact synergistically with other cementing additives such as dispersants, retarders, and extenders, and provide strong thermal stability even in harsh downhole environments.

Storage and Handling

Packaging: 25 kg paper-plastic composite bag or 200 L drum (for liquid type)

Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with moisture before use.

Shelf life: 24 months in original packaging.
